Do you require deposits for appointments?

All new appointments require a non refundable retainer with a card on file. This ensures your appointment is secured and appropriate time is blocked out. In the event of a cancellation your retainer may be transferable to a new day depending on the time of cancellation.elit. How long do I have to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING POLICY 
I kindly ask that if you need to change, cancel, or reschedule your appointment that you notify me 48 hours in advance. Both text and email reminders will be sent to you 2 days before your scheduled appointment. Any appointment canceled with less than 48 hours notice will result in a 50% fee of the time / service booked. Appointments 24 hours or less will be result in a 100% fee of the time / service booked. Due to the demand on my schedule I will allow only 1 reschedule once per quarter.

Do I need to wear or do anything special for my visit?

I prefer In the event of us taking before/after pictures neutral colored shirts with no graphics shown. If you wish to bring clothing to change into after, you’re more than welcome to as our facility has changing rooms.

What is included in your services?

haircut, color services and styling appointments will include shampoo, blow dry and style. New extension installs will include haircut, styling and finishing touches and mini photo shoot.

Do you offer gift certificates or specials of any kind?

I do offer gift certificates and Friend referral programs.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one to my appointments ?

If you must bring children or guests, be mindful of the space and their behavior and ensure they don’t disrupt the salon experience for other clients.

What is the maintenance for IBE extensions?

Invisible beaded extensions  are recommend your first follow-up appointment at 7 weeks. At that time, I will evaluate your grow-out and determine if you can go longer in between appointments. On average, clients have their row(s) reinstalled between 8-10 weeks.

What different methods of extensions do you offer?

invisible bead extensions, traditional hairtied, thermal fusion, cold fusion, tapings, and I tip.

What is the difference between IBE extensions and traditional hand tied?

Traditional hand tied when flipped up, you will be able to see the beads underneath, and IBE the beads are invisible, installed in a way that the beats are sandwich between the wives making them invisible. IBE also allows a longer time between move. 

How much do hair extensions cost and do I have to get a new set every time?

The cost depends on what method(s) are desired end look you are trying to achieve. I can not to give an exact price quote until you come in for an in person consultation. 

And depending on the extension method, you desire, you may or may not have to get a new set every time

Are extensions damaging to your natural hair?

It is extremely important to follow the aftercare for your desired method of choice. With proper installation in proper aftercare, you should have no damage to your natural hair.

Can I still enjoy an active lifestyle and water sports?

Absolutely with proper preventative care (wetting hair before applying leave in brushing and braiding) before you go in the water and the right mineral sunscreen.

What is the life span of a set of extensions and what maintenance is involved with it?

 With proper styling care and the proper use of professional hair products, quality hand-tied and micro weft hair will last on average 6-12 months. 

Tape ins are recommend your first follow-up appointment at 5 weeks. At that time, I will evaluate your grow-out and determine if you can go longer in between appointments. On average, clients have their tapes(s) reinstalled between 4-6 weeks.

With proper styling care and the proper use of professional hair products, quality tape ins will last on average 4-6 months. 

Thermal fusion  extensions can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, 

Cold fusion extensions can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, 

I tip are recommend your first follow-up appointment at 5 weeks. At that time, I will evaluate your grow-out and determine if you can go longer in between appointments. On average, clients have their i tips reinstalled between 8-10 weeks.

With proper styling care and the proper use of professional hair products, quality i tips will last on average 6-12 months. 

Why do I have to have a consultation for extensions?

This will allow me to properly, assess your hair and density to choose a right method for your desired look.

What is the difference between thermal and cold fusion extensions?

Thermal uses heat to bond the extensions to your natural hair and cold fusion uses ultrasonic waves to bond the extension. Cold fusions can be applied flat or round.

How is extension hair sourced?

I only use ethically sourced hair with means the donor gave their hair knowingly or willingly, and were fairly compensated in exchange for it.

Can I wash and style extensions just like my natural hair?

Hair extensions require special treatment as there is no oil traveling down the hair shaft, meaning the hair becomes dry. Always use products that are hydrating and gentle on the hair. Pay attention to what is in the shampoo and conditioner you are using as well as styling products.

Do you offer options for fine or thinning hair?

Best is to determine all solutions in your consultation! I offer multiple methods to fit your hair type the best.
